The former KU VC was addressing the reference meeting held in the memory of the late nuclear scientist.
The event at which he was speaking was organised by Dr AQ Khan Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering at KU’s Jinnah Auditorium on Monday.
“The late Dr A. Q. Khan had set a goal and in achieving this goal, he had to face many problems and difficulties, but he did not back down from his objectives. We need to build self-confidence instead of relying on others, the best example of which is the life of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.”
