HYDERABAD:
The Hyderabad police on Thursday claimed to have arrested two suspects in injured condition in an encounter in the limits of A-Section Police Station.
The police spokesman informed on Thursday that the A-Section police arrested Zeeshan Ansari, Muhammad Shehroze Sheru and Muhammad Asif Abbassi after an exchange of fire on Gulistan-eSarmast Road.
Ansari and Sheru sustained gunshot injuries and were shifted to Liaquat University Hospital for treatment. In another encounter the policemen of Naseem Nagar check post chased a vehicle which had escaped the snap checking.
The chase ended with an exchange of fire after which three suspects were arrested including one, Dilawar Hussain Makrani, in injured condition.
He was taken to hospital for medical assistance. Sources claim that police encounters resumed in Hyderabad after SSP Sajid Amir Sadozai took the charge earlier this month.
