Last week we saw the release of the Akshay Kumar starrer Bellbottom in theatres. Being the first big ticket Bollywood film to release in cinemas, trade pundits, filmmakers, and others have been lauding Akshay and the makers of the film for making a bold decision. While others have been commending this move, the Punjabi film Puaada hit screens 13 days ago and has been doing quite well, despite the lack of buzz surrounding it.After collecting Rs. 50 lakhs on Day 1, the business of Puaada that features Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles continued to hold steady with a constant revenue stream. In fact, in its opening weekend Puaada saw immense growth with collections nearing the Rs. 2.45 cr. mark. Following this in its first week running the film managed to post a total of Rs. 3.83 cr.
